Victorian Northern Interconnect Expansion, Spiecapag Lucas
CNC Project Management continues its longstanding relationship with the Spiecapag Lucas Joint Venture (SCL), supplying onsite environmental and landholder liaison management to the Victorian Northern Interconnect Expansion (VNIE) Project, which spans approximately 165km across Victoria and New South Wales.
CNC’s environment team has prepared key documentation for the project including the Construction Environment Management Plan (CEMP), obtained required approvals and permits for fauna management. CNC is also managing site-based environmental compliance, training and awareness, working collaboratively with APA Group (the proponent) and key project stakeholders.
CNC’s landholder liaison specialists coordinated landholder engagements to 254 landowners across 437 land parcels. Land liaison officers prepared Property Inspection Reports (PIRs) to ensure all land access agreements were confirmed and effectively relayed to construction crews.
CNC is also ensuring that all reinstatement and rehabilitation requirements are being met and that directly affected stakeholders are satisfied with project outcomes, whilst maintaining the reputation of CNC and its clients.
